One Movement: Musexpo Asia Pacific logoOne Movement For Music Perth is proud to announce the last round of industry leaders who will be taking the stage for MUSEXPO Asia Pacific at One Movement for Music Perth, including Julie Horton from Realsongs, Mark Poston of EMI Australasia and Paul Piticco from Dew Process/Secret Service.

They join, among others, Diane Warren (international hit-maker extraordinaire and founder of publisher Realsongs) and Dave Holmes (Coldplay’s worldwide manager and founder of 3D Artist Management) for their first major speaking engagements in the Asia Pacific region, Korda Marshall (President of the UK’s legendary Infectious Records), Jeff Craib (Senior Vice President of Canada’s leading full service agency SL Feldman and Associates), Markus Kühn (Managing Director for Germany’s iconic MotorFM) plus many more.

Tackling issues such as the ever-evolving digital industry, the growth of the Asian and Pacific Rim markets, music and visual media plus contemporary publishing, MUSEXPO Asia Pacific is the forum for the leaders of the future. Joining the list of MUSEXPO Asia Pacific speakers in this third announcement are:

Julie Horton, One Movement guest speakerJulie Horton (USA – Executive Vice President, Realsongs; pictured right) – Julie Horton spent 15 years at ASCAP as the West Regional Head of Membership, where she mentored many songwriters who went on to have hit songs in every market. For the past 9 years, Julie is has been Executive VP of Diane Warren’s publishing company, Realsongs.

Paul Piticco (Aust – Founder/Director, Dew Process/Secret Service) – Since their inception in 1990, Paul Piticco has managed the career of multi-platinum, multi-award winning Brisbane act Powderfinger. He formed Secret Service Artist Management in the late 1990s, and continues to nurture the careers of artists and bands alike.

Doug Banker (USA – Vice President, McGhee Entertainment) – Vice President of McGhee Entertainment, Banker is a 35-year music business veteran with extensive experience in providing management services to musicians and recording artists, music production, marketing, merchandising, music licensing, and concert and video production.

Surachai Sensri (Thailand – Managing Director, GMM international)

Adarsh Gupta (India – Chief Operating Officer, Times Music) - COO of Times Music, a major player in creating and supplying Premium Devotional and World Music in India and across the World and available across Physical and Digital .

Peera Lucksanapirak (Thailand – Licensing and Publishing Manager, GMM international)

Mark Poston, One Movement guest speakerMark Poston (Aust – Chairman, EMI Australasia; pictured right) – Mark has worked in various frontline roles in music since his university days, from running a record store to roles in sales, promotions and marketing at Sony and BMG. Mark was also one of the founding members of an official ARIA Club and Dance Music chart back in the late 1990s.

Brett Cottle (Aust – CEO, APRA/AMCOS) – Brett Cottle is the Chief Executive of Australasian Performing Right Association Limited (APRA), a position held since July 1990.

George Negus (Aust – Founder, Negus Media International)

Jason Bentley (USA – Music Director, KCRW) – Music Director and host at KCRW Santa Monica, Jason is equally at home supervising music for film (as evidenced by The Matrix trilogy) or serving in an A&R capacity.

Jon Niermann (Singapore – President, EA Asia)

Andrew Ing (Singapore – Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, St James Holdings Ltd) – Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of St James Holdings Ltd, Singapore’s largest night entertainment group with 14 outlets across three locations.

Richard Kingsmill (Aust – Music Director, Triple J)

Rob Graham (Thailand – Managing Director, Virgin Radio Thailand) – Rob joined Virgin Radio Thailand at the beginning of 2009 and is responsible for the management and operations of their three stations in Bangkok, as well as Thailand’s most visited radio website, www.virginradiothailand.com.

Steve Knill (USA – President Music and Entertainment, Radiate) – President, Music & Entertainment for The Radiate Group, Stephen Knill develops new projects in the music and entertainment space working with Radiate Group agencies and their brand clients.

Vince Bannon (USA – VP Digital and Entertainment, Getty Images)

Norman Parkhill (Aust – Director, Sandcastle Studios) – A 20 year veteran of the music industry, Parkhill is a director of Sandcastle Studios and is responsible for all of the studio’s screen music related activities – from music supervision and representation of the studio’s composers, arrangers and producers to producing, releasing and marketing soundtrack albums and publishing the associated musical works.

Tom Zutaut (USA – band manager/consultant) – A leading music industry executive for many years, Tom is recognised as one of the most successful A&R Executives in history, his artists having sold over 400 million units worldwide. He has worked in senior level positions for Elektra, Geffen, EMI/Virgin, Mercury, and Island/Def Jam Records over the last 20 years.

Bruce Garfield (USA – President and Founder, Monster Management) – President and founder of Monster Management and Bruce Garfield Entertainment began his career pioneering merchandising and signed early merch deals with artists including Led Zeppelin, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and many more.

Bill Cullen (Aust – Manager, One Louder Management) – Bill is a director of One Louder Entertainment, the management home to End Of Fashion, Paul Kelly, Sarah Blasko, The Drones and Kate Miller-Heidke.

Richard Moffat (Aust – Founder, Way Over There) – Founder of Way Over There, an independent music programming operation representing local venues and national Australian music festivals including Falls Festival, Sunset Sounds Festival, Southbound Festival and St Kilda Festival.

Andrea von Foerster (USA – Music Supervisor, Firestarter Music) – Andrea has done music supervision for both film and television for the last ten years including The O.C., Grey’s Anatomy, and Rescue Me.

Brian Nielsen (Denmark – CEO, Skandinavian Booking Management) – Founder of Skandinavian Booking & Management, one of Scandinavia’s leading artist agencies.

Cassandra Gracey (UK – Manager, Crown Music) – Cassandra began by working with Australian legend, Kate Ceberano, before she headed to London where she has worked with various acts and producers. Her management company is part of the Crown Music Group and she personally manages Gabriella Cilmi and Frankmusik.

Ritch Esra (USA – Publisher, Music Business Registry) – Former A+R Director of Artist Records, for the past 17 years, Esra has been publishing the Music Business Registry, which includes the A&R Registry; the Publisher Registry; the Music Business Attorney Registry; the Record Producer Directory; and the Film and Television Music Guide.

Sudhir Shreedharan (India – Editor, Indian Music Talks) – Passionate about both Indian and international music genres, this dynamic and enterprising software engineer and hands-on manager has changed the way the music industry in India communicates, networks and handles its web PR operations.

Andrew Phillips (UK – media consultant) – Andrew Phillips is a multimedia person with international experience, having produced and presented entertainment formats in England, Australia, Africa and America. His impressive portfolio of shows covers platforms like radio, TV, digital, press and web platforms.

Russell Thomas (Aust – Founder, Kaos Management) - Russell Thomas’ KAOS is an independent radio promotion company servicing new music to radio stations Australia wide.

Scot Morris (Aust – Director of International Relations, APRA) - For nearly a decade, Scot has been the Vice-Chair of the Asia-Pacific Committee of the International Confederation of Authors and Composers Societies (CISAC) and is the APRA|AMCOS Director of International, responsible for overseas revenues for Australasian songwriters, composers and music publishers.

David Vodicka, One Movement guest speakerDavid Vodicka (Aust – Principal, Media Arts Lawyers, AIR, WIN; pictured right) - Principal of Media Arts Lawyers, Vodicka and has had extensive experience with almost 20 years practice representing musicians, artists, performers, composers and the like. He also has considerable experience in the music recording and publishing fields as director of independent label, Rubber Records, and music publisher, Rubber Music Publishing.

Amie Green (UK – Australian Award Co-ordinator, Greener Festivals) - Originally hailing from the UK, Amie Green is A Greener Festival’s Australian Award Co-ordinator, a role that involves assessing environmental sustainability and efficiency over nine key areas at various Australian music events.
