Showcase Festival: Tata Young Live On The Snowball Stage

Although a massive star in Asia, Thai pop singer Tata Young is practically unknown in Australia. However, that changed as soon as she stepped onto the Snowball Stage at 6.50pm on Saturday, 17 October 2009 alongside a troupe of dancers, who were apparently poached from a nearby international circus and speedily-taught Tata’s dance routines.

I recorded two side-of-stage videos - ‘I Believe’ and the end of ‘Mission Is You’ - which both featured some jaw-dropping dance moves. Take a look below.

I still can’t get over the tandem hand-holding, head-banging action 34 seconds into the below video.

It was, without doubt, one of the most entertaining sets of the festival. More Tata Young on MySpace.

    The new songs from hew new album is awesome! but she should change her costume, hair stylist and practice more dancing.
